fonts-gubbi software package provides Gubbi Kannada font, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-gubbi
fonts-gubbi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-gubbi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-gubbi *
You will get with fonts-gubbi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
